Booking and the summit
Do I register for the summit through you?
No. You register on the official Vibrant Gujarat website, in your own name. We can point you to it, but registration and any summit fees are between you and the organisers. The delegation programme covers everything else.
Are international flights included?
No. You book your own flights to and within India, so you can choose your route, airline and loyalty scheme. The delegation's travel agent can help if you like. Send us your flight details, and the delegation programme takes over from the moment you land in Ahmedabad.
Can my spouse or partner come?
Companions may be able to join the cultural and leisure parts of the programme, with other activities arranged on the days of business meetings. AIF to confirm whether companions can join, and the fee.

Travel and your time in India
What visa do I need?
Most visitors from the US, Canada and Latin America use the Indian e-Visa, which you apply for online before you travel. We provide supporting documents. The rules differ by nationality and can change, so check the official Indian e-Visa website and apply at least four weeks before you travel.
It is my first trip to India. Will I be comfortable?
Yes. The delegation is arranged for first-time visitors. We meet you at the airport, arrange your ground transport and your programme, and provide staff who speak English. The delegation's travel agent can help you book checked hotels. Our team in India is available day and night.
What about dietary needs?
Tell us when you book. Our partner hotels are used to vegetarian, Jain, halal, kosher, gluten-free and other diets.
What is the weather like in January?
January is the most pleasant month in Gujarat: dry, with daytime temperatures of about 22-28°C (72-82°F) and cooler evenings. Bring layers for the mornings and evenings.
Is travel insurance included?
No, and you must have it. You need full travel and medical insurance for the whole trip.
Is the trip accessible?
Tell us about any mobility or access needs when you enquire, and we will advise you honestly. Some heritage sites have steep steps and uneven ground.

Payments and policies
How do payments work?
AIF to confirm the deposit, when the balance is due, how to pay and in which currency. Suggested: a 25% deposit to reserve your place, with the balance due 60 days before you travel.
What is the cancellation policy?
AIF to supply the cancellation policy, checked by its lawyers. Suggested: the deposit is not refundable. For cancellations 60 or more days before departure, 75% of the balance is refunded; 30 to 59 days before, 50%; less than 30 days before, no refund. Hotel and flight deposits for summit week are mostly not recoverable.
Is any of this tax-deductible?
AIF to answer only after written advice from a tax professional.
Places are limited. Confirm early.
We keep the delegation small so the business programme works well, and the early-confirmation fee closes on the deadline. Tell us you would like a place, and we will hold it while you register for the summit and book your flights.
You pay nothing when you enquire. The AIF delegation team will contact you within two working days.
